5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the property, service address, access points, irrigation systems, underground utilities, pets, gates, HOA requirements, and any known property concerns.
Customers should remove personal items, outdoor furniture, toys, decorations, vehicles, pet waste, and other obstacles from the work area before service begins.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers are responsible for marking or notifying us about sprinkler heads, irrigation lines, drainage lines, landscape lighting, buried cables, invisible fences, and other hidden items that may be affected by lawn preparation or installation work.
6. Sod and Lawn Results
Your Local Grass Guy works to provide quality sod and installation services, but lawn results can depend on many factors outside of our control, including watering, sunlight, shade, soil condition, drainage, foot traffic, pets, pests, disease, weather, and ongoing maintenance.
Customers are responsible for proper watering and maintenance after installation unless a separate maintenance agreement is made in writing.
We do not guarantee that sod, grass, or landscaping will remain healthy if it is not properly watered, maintained, or protected after installation.
7. Payments, Deposits, and Cancellations
Payment terms, deposits, balances, cancellation terms, and refund eligibility may vary by project and will be provided at the time of booking or estimate approval.
Because sod is often ordered, scheduled, cut, delivered, or reserved for a specific project, cancellations or changes made after confirmation may result in fees or loss of deposit.
